I've been sitting on this for a while. Mathemetician and ex-mining executive Steve McIntyre noticed something strange with some numbers used in Global Warming studies. (McIntyre noticed something strange with the "Mann Hockey Stick" too). NASA scientist James Hansen eventually admitted that McIntyre was correct that something was fishy about those temperature measurements.
The measurements showed an 0.3C increase in US temperatures over the last few years. After correcting the mistake that McIntyre discovered, they now show a 0.15C increase in US temperature. The best part is that Hansen says that the correction of 0.15C isn't large enough to matter, but that seems to imply that the 0.15C increase isn't enough to worry about either. How can one 0.15C temperature change be irrelevant, but another 0.15C temperature change over the same time period be a threat to all Creation?
I guess I just don't have the chops to work for NASA.
